ObjectClarity TimeWriter Component (a fork of the Mambotastic Timesheets component) has been released to the public. A few last minute changes have been added to the build and released as v1.0.1. We're looking for feedback, bug reports or feature requests. |

Joomla! TimeWriter Component
Jul 20 2008 06:38:19 First, I really like TimeWriter it has great potential. I maintain a Joomla website for Doctors who use Community Builder to find and help Patients. Some features I'd like to see in TimeWriter that are related to how doctors (and most other professionals) track time:
1) remove (or have as an option) Mileage feature since I didn't see where a user could use it in the Edit Timesheet Entry form. 2) add option for users to add their own companies/clients (like insurance companies) that they bill time to. That way, for doctors, they can see that they're able to identify time entered for an insurance company. Allowing users to add their own companies gives the timesheet more detail. 3) Allow users to enter their billing rate that is calculated automatically with number of hours. This could be set as a user preference. 4) Integration with Community Builder (C  Connections. Connections are a great way to maintain "buddies". By integrating CB Connections allows Doctors to additionally track time based on their list of Patients (that list of Patients is the CB buddy list).
